Otsego Minnesota is a growing community located between Interstate 94 (Rogers) and US Highway 10 (Elk River) in Wright County in the northwestern corner of the Twin Cities 9 County Metro area. It is an exurban community just beyond the suburbs where the land was primiarily used for farming until recently.
 
As you can see in the photo, this new home development (Arbor Creek) has a farm in the background (see the blue silos) and a great park for the kids to play in. And just down the way, there are farms and horses.
Otsego is growing fast and developing the area along the Interstate as well as Main Street (Mn Hwy 101). Road improvement and widening is underway on Main Street. All of the intersections should be completed in 2008.

The city recently celebrated the opening of its new public works building - Sept/Oct City Newsletter and showed it off to the public during its Annual Fall Festival. Otsego has great parks and recreational facilities and is a very family friendly community. Click here to see more Facts about Otsego Minnesota. And they proudly announced that they have completed all payments to the City Hall building - it is now owned by the city free and clear!
 
Just because it is out away from the flash and buzz of the big city doesn't mean you have to suffer. Otsego has plenty of amenities and family fun activities. Here are pictures of Prairie Park and the Skateboard Park.
