Anoka County Community Action Program announces new Down Payment Assistance
The Anoka County Community Action Program (ACCAP) has announced a brand new down payment assistance program. This program was established to help first time home buyers afford to purchase homes in Anoka County with an interest free deferred loan to provide up to $5000 of down payment assistance. The program is specifically designed to help bring the cost of owning a home down to an affordable level where monthly housing costs take up no more than 30% of the first time home buyers' monthly income. This principle only loan must be repaid when the property is sold.
